Here's to another Detox year

Hi all. I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year. I took Emma up north to visit my folks in the newly restored Mini. We then came back down to stay at her folks then chilled out for a few days. We went back to work for two days before heading to Lincolnshire for our January holiday. The goal for 2007 is 12 holidays minimum. Now that’s what I call a work-life balance!

On returning from our cottage stay in Lincolnshire we had to pull over near Swaffham as the Mini was shaking itself to bits! I discovered that all but one wheel nut on my front left wheel had come lose. Only the fact that I had a hub cap was what kept the loose nuts on the bolts. I got out the torque wrench and tightened them up properly and checked the other wheels for good measure.

Did everyone get what they wanted for Christmas? I got a new mobile and Emma got a Wi-Fi video sender. I’ve not read my new phones manual yet which is why I’m finding it hard to get to grips with. Sorry if I’m taking longer to reply to texts. I’m still the worlds slowest texter!

I managed to put on a few pounds over the festive season. Who didn't? I’m back at the gym and hopefully the weight will start falling off again. I did discover a new beer in Lincolnshire though that I like called Dark Lord made by Batemans. No beer for me though until I can get back into my jeans!
