Death of a Playstation

Today was one of those days that sucked. You know the kind, where nothing seems to go right and its probably best that you just go home and stay there.

So I did. I went home to relax and play some Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness. I'm a few levels from the end so I can probably make further progress while I wait for the Anniversary release date to stop moving.

It wasn't to be. My PS2 is dead. The disc drive no longer works. You can insert an original or backup and it does not recognise that you have inserted a disc. I've tried every trick I can think of short of opening it up. Nothing worked.

Sigh. Anyone selling a cheap PS2?
